About Me

Hello everybody!

My name is Fabian Infante, I am currently a rising junior at University of Houston studying computer science and minoring in national security. I am originally from Venezuela and I moved to the United States around 8 years ago. My passion lies in the field of cybersecurity, especially in the areas of governance and red teaming.

My journey in cybersecurity began right before I graduated high school, where I discovered my passion for security. I got intrigued by all topics related to social engineering, exploits, and how companies work around these issues. This early interest pushed me to seek out hands-on experiences, which led to my acceptance into a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) at Carnegie Mellon University's CyLab, where I completed an internship in cybersecurity.

During my free time, I enjoy improving my programming skills, exploring cybersecurity tools, and playing video games. I'm currently aiming to secure an internship this summer where I can apply what I've learned and gain real-world experience
